Food for Friends
The Food for Friends collection is the second weekend of the month. We collect food donations that go to the Monadnock Area Food Pantry. This food bank distributes food to the needy in 20 area towns. Large red "Food for Friends" cloth bags are available for parishioners to transport food to the church.
End 68 Hours of Hunger
End 68 hours is a not for profit organization that feeds children from Friday after school until Monday when they return to school which is approximately 68 hours. 100-165 students in the ConVal district can benefit from this program . Divine Mercy Parish partners with other area churches and businesses to help with this program. On the 4th weekend of the month we will collect 12 oz. canned meat or tuna. Please place items in the designated box inside of the wooden food collection box in Mary’s room. There will also be envelopes available for monetary donations. All donations are tax deductible and 100% goes directly to feeding the children. Make checks payable to End 68 hours and please put "ConVal" in the memo
